This is suppose to be somewhat my "holiday". On Saturday, after my chemistry tuition, I went to Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur and stayed there for one night. It was free of charge. My dad is a member and they give one night free to members(EVERY YEAR!). My mum, my dad and I went to stay overnight(considering that we had nothing else better to do than sit at home and do nothing!). When we reached the hotel, we went to check in(obviously).
I waited for my parents and took care of our small luggage. Then, an Indian man(a worker at the hotel) offered us candy! I, of course, took it(the fact that how greedy I am is TRUE. =P) and said thank you to him. He smiled and then said,"I made it myself." Hmm. What does THAT mean? Was I supposed to be IMPRESSED? Anyway, I just smiled at him and nod my head.
I stood about 1 metre behind my parents while waiting for them to finish checking in. I looked around to check out the hotel(very busy hotel). Then, I noticed the receptionist beside the receptionist who was entertaining my parents looking at me. I looked at her and she said,"Together?". Okay, I was not wearing my spectacles at that moment but she looked like she was looking at someone BEHIND me. So I turned behind and notice there was NO ONE behind me and I ignored her. She looked down and typed something and I looked at her and SHE looked at me. "Together?" she said. THEN I noticed she was actually talking to me. XD. Silly me! So I just dumbly nod my head. Conclusion? DO I REALLY LOOK THAT OLD?!
My dad requested for twinbeds. *Yay!*(You would think. Given there were 3 of us, I was forced to share a SINGLE bed with my mum.) The room was nice(note: I said NICE and not WONDERFUL. It was not big and it was not small.) All I can tell you is that, the toilet was AMAZING!!! xD! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take pictures(my dad laid on the bed as soon as he got in the room. -_-")! The toilet had a little TV underneath the mirror and you can rotate the mirror(Horizontally-left to right)! The house slippers they provided was so confortable. The pillows are AMAZING(made from feather!!). Scenery from our room's window is not too bad. However, the plasma TV quality is bad! Some channels were just wonderfully blur and the sound quality of some channels was also terrible.
We watched the news and I had to remind my parents to go for dinner(greedy me!). We went to the lobby and they had buffet. My dad asked for the price and the lady said cheerfully,"RM80, RM90 and RM100!" My eyes bulged out from my sockets and my dad(being a MAN) just nod his head as if it was a really reasonable price and he WALKED away! Lol! We went to a Japanese restaurant called Iketeru. We were taken to our table(which was next to 3 white guys. 2 of them were H-O-T.).
The service there was good. The waitresses were friendly. One of them handed us the menu and they all gave us some time to choose what we wanted. As I opened my menu, OH DEAR GOD look at the fucknig prices! Most of the prices were around RM120 and above! The cheapest prices was RM8. My parents were shocked and said in Hokkien,"My God. Just look at the prices! RM300 also got!" I scanned my menu and finally chose something to eat. Grilled cod fish with teriyaki sauce. Sounds good! The waitress came to take our order and I quickly asked what was teriyaki. =P. She said it was a sweet sauce. Fair enough. I ordered what I wanted. *Joy!*. My parents then asked for some recommendation. Then something hit me. How much was my dish? My eyes darted across the menu. RM50. Fck. Swt. Shite. My heart fell to the empty pit in my stomach! I wanted to change my order but my parents were taking SO long to order! Finally when my dad finished ordering, I quickly said,"I'm sorry. But, can I change my order to grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce?" And my, my, my. The waitress just glared at me(Talk about good service). Then she quickly smiled. I apologised again. Wonder how much my grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce was? RM30. Hey, at least I saved RM20 right? =)! Our food took long to get to our table. They didn't apologise. But when they serve the 3 white guys their foods late, the waitress said,"Sorry to keep you waiting.." Bitch.
My dish was delicious and so was my dad's. My mum's was not bad. My dad wanted to order ice-cream. Can you imagine? One scoop was RM10! I ordered green tea and my parenst ordered red bean(yuck!). We were so miserable. 3 people sharing 2 scoops of ice-cream. Lol. The whole dinner cost about RM200 at first. But with 30% discount, the dinner cost..well, cheaper! Lol. We were about to burst. So we decided to walk around the hotel. We walked to Le Meridien hotel and the decorations in there was better than in Hilton's. Probably because there were less people there. My mum and I wanted to snap a few pictures. My dad volunteered to take pictures of us. So, my mum and I smiled for the camera and my dad tried taking a picture. That's when I noticed that my dad was holding the camera UPSIDE DOWN. LOL. My mum started laughing like a witch and I just walked away from her(she was laughing real loud!). My dad was so embarrassed! Lol.
After taking a few pictures, we walked back to our hotel(it was just next door. 2 steps to Hilton.). We went back to our room. I switched on the TV and kept changing the channels until my dad almost yelled at me. Lol. And finally I settled for a Jet Li movie. I just dig guys who knows kung fu nowadays. Jackie Chan, Jet Li..and not Chow Yun Fatt! Maybe I dig small guys who knows kung fu. Lol! So the Jet Li movie was called Romeo. Aaliyah starred in it and I just felt bad(you all know why). My dad had fever and he demanded to switch off the air conditioner! Both my parents were shivering but I was not. Weird. We slept after the movie ended.
The next day(which is today), I woke up at 9.30am. I looked out the window and took pictures of the swimming pool, the museum, the lake and KL tower. At 11am, we went out and had dim sum for breakfast. The cheapest dim sum was RM9. Bloody hell. I couldn't help but cursed how expensive the place was! Trying to cheat poor tourists! But..it was worth it. The food was great. Lol.
After breakfast, my dad went to the room and took a nap while my mum and I went to KL Sentral. KL Sentral was so boring. I bought LIME(got Robbie Williams's poster!) and FEMALE. The bloody cashier was just eye-ing me.
We left the hotel at 12.45pm. My dad didn't notice that the traffic light was red! A car just zoomed pass the traffic light and my dad wante to follow when my mum told him to stop. Thank god he did because if he continued driving, he would have knocked down a white guy who was enjoying his sub. Lol. That white guy was just eating like there's no tomorrow and he did not even look left or right and cross the road!
Reached Mid Valley at 1pm. My dad went for a wedding lunch and my mum and I went SHOPPING! Nowadays, the shoe sizes are getting bigger and bigger. THANK GOD. My feet are size 9, okay? I hate going shoe shopping. But now I just LOVE it! The problem is, many people are size 9!! So each and every shop I go to, they said,"This is the last pair for size 9. I'm sorry." Yeah, whatever! I bought 2 pairs of sandals! And also two knickers. Lol. It was CHEAP. ELLE. 2 for RM20. So that's about it! Pictures will be uploaded soon!
Will always love fats, Chin Chi.
Hot guys should come to me.
